Crop Spraying

 

  • Agriculture is highly regulated and with the continual introduction of new legislation and controls. Health and safety regulations, Plant Protection Products (PPPs) regulations and recommendations for local environment risk assessment for plant protection products (LERAP) for the UK Agricultural sector is constantly evolving, beyond Brexit, to keep up to date with the needs of a modern farming, as the UK is pursuing a globally integrated market approach.

 

  • Our contract crop spraying operation was established in 1993. Soley specialising in the accurate and safe application of pesticides. Contracting to Farmers throughout Northumberland as well as undertaking Equestrian and amenity works.

 

  • Our NRoSO trained operators are constantly staying abreast with current legislation and changes to working practices to ensure our compliance. Having a thorough understanding - and therefore being able to comply fully with all applicable legislation and legal obligations as outlined by HSE. Our contract application service is not only to advise legal requirements to avoid possible fines, but provides peace of mind, also to prevent potential accidents on your farms with less risk and cost savings to the farm business.

 

 

Fertiliser Application

 

  • Our crop spraying contract includes a range of benefits designed to streamline your farming operations. With precise pesticide and fertiliser application techniques, we ensure minimal waste whilst guaranteeing optimal results. No need for training and certification of farm staff, thus simplifying the process. Compliance with LERAPs and stewardship requirements becomes effortless, potentially reducing insurance costs. By optimising labour allocation during peak periods, we offer greater flexibility and reduced labour burdens. Moreover, our approach minimises equipment depreciation and enhances fixed cost management. In addition, our direct connection to a comprehensive agronomic package, facilitated by our dedicated agronomist, further solidifies our commitment to enhancing your farming experience.

 

 

 Modern Farming Machinery

 

  • Our specialist machineries are capable of spraying up to 30 meters. They align with the standards set by the National Sprayer Testing Scheme whilst benefitting from auto-steering, allowing for more comfortable and accurate steering and manoeuvring during spraying, drilling or planting with other advanced features including GPS receiver capable of RTK, self-levelling boom, and section control.

 

  • Our extensive wheel equipment to cover all aspects - high ground clearance and minimal ground pressure. A large water bowser can be supplied if required. In cases requiring intricate work or smaller areas, quad bike applications are also available. Our convenient on-site pesticide store is fully insured with full public liability and HSE compliant.
